General Munir issued a warning to Afghanistan to cease supporting the TTP, advocating a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. Various mafias involved in smuggling, illegal storage, and theft of electricity and gas are under scrutiny, with law enforcement agencies actively pursuing corrective actions.

Pakistan has a lengthy history of hosting Afghan refugees, dating back to the Soviet-Afghan War in the 1980s. The influx of displaced Afghans has significantly impacted Pakistan, presenting a complex array of challenges. According to the latest available data, Pakistan is home to one of the largest refugee populations globally, with a substantial portion being Afghan refugees. The majority reside in provinces bordering Afghanistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. While some live in refugee camps, many are integrated into local communities, adding to the complexity of the situation.

It was another key achievement during the first year of General Asim Munir to take up the decision of repatriation of Illegal refugees in order to secure the lives, properties and resources of the country which is being implementing now carrying out in a transparent and smmoth way.

During recent visits alongside the Caretaker Prime Minister to the UAE and Kuwait, Pakistan has successfully entered into Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and agreements, securing investments totaling billions of dollars. This positive development indicates a promising direction for Pakistan.
