Balochistan CM, Federal Defense Minister Meet to Discuss Law and Order

Quetta(GhulamYaseen)-A high-level meeting was held in Quetta, presided over by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti and Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, to discuss law and order in the province. The meeting was briefed on the overall situation of peace and security, challenges faced, and the efficiency of security institutions.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized the need to restore peace in Balochistan, stating that measures are being taken to counter terrorists and saboteurs. He highlighted the provincial government’s youth policy, aimed at providing development opportunities and promoting healthy activities.

Federal Minister Asif condemned the killing of innocent people on linguistic grounds and assured cooperation from the federal government to restore peace in Balochistan. He emphasized the importance of national unity in defeating enemy conspiracies.

During a separate meeting, Bugti briefed Asif on the situation in Balochistan, stating that the provincial government and security forces are working to restore peace. He highlighted efforts to modernize the police and levies, increase professional capacity, and effectively respond to incidents. Bugti reiterated the commitment to bring saboteurs to justice, emphasizing that terrorists have no religion or faith.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to defeating terrorism and restoring peace in Balochistan through a joint action plan and national unity.
