Islamabad Police Launches Special Campaign to Eradicate Drugs and Protect Youth

Islamabad Capital Police, in conjunction with the Anti-Narcotics Force, is diligently working to curb drug-related issues.

Islamabad(Nasir Khatak)- Islamabad Capital Police has initiated a special awareness campaign, in line with the directives of Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the City Police Officer, to combat the menace of drugs in the federal capital and safeguard the youth. During this campaign, police teams from Islamabad Capital Police delivered impactful lectures across various educational institutions, emphasizing the detrimental effects of drug use on the health and future of young individuals, particularly students. The focus is on encouraging students to protect themselves and contribute to saving others from the perils of drug abuse.

With the collaborative support of parents and teachers, the awareness drive aims to rescue the youth from the clutches of drugs. Police teams appealed to citizens, urging them to demonstrate responsible citizenship by promptly reporting any instances of drug activities in their vicinity to the authorities. Stressing the crucial role of public cooperation, it was emphasized that eradicating this menace is only possible with active involvement from the community.
