Hamas Releases Three More Israeli Prisoners as Part of Ceasefire Agreement

GAZA: According to Arab media reports, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas has released three Israeli prisoners as part of the fifth phase of the hostages’ release under the ceasefire agreement. The prisoners were freed in the city of Deir al-Balah.

The three released prisoners include 56-year-old Ohad Ben Amy, 52-year-old Eli Sharabi, and 34-year-old Or Levi. They were brought to a stage set up in Deir al-Balah, after which they were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Reports suggest that following the release of the Israeli hostages, the fifth phase of the agreement is expected to see the release of 183 Palestinian prisoners.

Stages of Hostage Releases:

In the first phase, Hamas released three Israeli women in exchange for 90 Palestinian prisoners. In the second phase, four Israeli women were freed, and Israel released 120 Palestinians. In the third phase, Hamas released eight hostages, including five Thai women.

In the fourth phase, Hamas released two Israeli hostages in Khan Younis, who were then handed over to the Red Cross, while Israel freed 183 Palestinian prisoners.
