Irfan Saeed & Amara Ishtiaq Clinch Titles at All Pakistan Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025

Lahore: The first All Pakistan Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025, hosted by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), concluded with a grand closing ceremony, celebrating outstanding performances from teams across the nation. The event featured top participants from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan Army, WAPDA, Police, Railways, POF Wah, and Sui Northern Gas.

In the Men’s Singles category, Irfan Saeed emerged as the champion, while Mohammad Ali Larosh claimed the runner-up position. The Women’s Singles title was secured by Amara Ishtiaq, with Alja Tariq finishing second.

The Men’s Doubles title went to the pair Raja Zulqarnain and Mohammad Ali Larosh, with Aamir Saeed and Mohammad Adnan as runners-up. In the Women’s Doubles, Ghazala Siddique and Amara Ishtiaq took first place, followed by Zubaira Islam and Umama Usman.

The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Saqib Arbab, Deputy Managing Director (Operations), SNGPL, who served as the Chief Guest and awarded prizes to the top athletes. Senior officials including Mr. Imtiaz Mehmood, President Sports / Senior General Manager, and Mr. Muhammad Arshad, Vice President / General Manager, also attended.

In his remarks, Mr. Saqib Arbab praised the dedication and skill exhibited by the players and emphasized SNGPL’s commitment to fostering sports development in Pakistan. He assured continued support for organizing such prestigious tournaments aimed at promoting healthy competition and positive activities nationwide.
