The security forces killed two terrorists during an intelligence based operation in general area of Ursoon near Pakistan – Afghanistan border, Chitral District, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to ISPR, during conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists, resultantly two terrorists were sent to hell, while four terrorists got seriously injured.
Sanitization of the surrounding areas is being carried out to neutralize any other terrorist found in the area.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation by Security forces of Pakistan, who remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.

Funeral prayer of General Sawar Khan (Retired), former Vice Chief of Army Staff was offered at Army Graveyard Rawalpindi today. General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, and large number of civil and military officials including senior retired Army officers and relatives of deceased attended the funeral.
