Five Terrorists Killed in Clash with CTD Police in Karak
KARAK: Five terrorists were killed in a confrontation with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police in Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, authorities confirmed. The identities of the deceased militants have not yet been disclosed, and their bodies have been transferred to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for further investigation.
According to police sources, the operation was carried out based on intelligence information. CTD officials are continuing search operations in the area to locate other potential threats.
This operation follows a series of successful counter-terrorism actions, including a major operation in Mianwali on October 7, 2024, which led to the deaths of seven militants affiliated with the “Fitna al-Khawarij” group.
The CTD continues to strengthen its efforts in combating terrorism and ensuring security in the region.
