Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claims to have arrested a human trafficker who was involved in the Italy boat mishap case. According to a spokesman, suspect Obaidullah, who was taken into custody from Gujarat, is the brother of principle accused Afaq.
According to the source, the arrested suspect used to receive money from Pakistan and send it to his brother Afaq who is residing in Libya.
Furthermore as many seven Pakistanis lost their lives in two incidents of boat sinking in Italy and Libya last month.
Meanwhile earlier, FIA had arrested two human traffickers from Gujarat. The suspects were involved in trafficking Pakistanis to foreign destinations.
