Cold and Dry Weather Expected Across Pakistan, with Rain and Snow in Some Areas

Cloudy Weather with Rain and Snow Expected in IIOJK

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted cold and dry weather for most regions of the country on Monday. However, isolated areas in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan may experience cloudy conditions, along with potential rain and snowfall.

This morning, temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad and Lahore at 13°C, Karachi at 19°C, Peshawar at 16°C, Quetta at 6°C, Gilgit at 3°C, Murree at 2°C, and Muzaffarabad at 7°C.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, similar cloudy weather with the possibility of rain and light snow is expected in cities like Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. The temperatures in these areas were recorded as follows: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramula at 5°C, Jammu at 12°C, Leh at -4°C, and Pulwama and Shopian at 4°C.

The public is advised to take necessary precautions against the cold, particularly in areas where snowfall and rain are expected.
