CJP Justice Yahya Afridi’s 100-Day Mark: SC Disposes of Record 8174 Cases

Islamabad-Supreme Court of Pakistan has disposed of 8174 cases during the first 100 days of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi.

Supreme Court of Pakistan has released first 100 days performances report of the apex court under the incumbent Chief Justice. According to statement, during these days 4936 new cases were filed in the apex court.

Supreme Judicial Council reviewed 46 complaints against the judges and disposed of 40 complaints. Supreme Judicial Council sought preliminary responses from five judges on complaints while further details were sought from one of the complaints.

SC statement claimed that the justice system improved due to the radical steps of the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Additionally, the SJC sought preliminary responses from five judges regarding five complaints, while further details were requested in one case.
