Nawaz Sharif Optimistic About Economic Outlook, Cites Inflation Decline
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif expressed his optimism about the country’s economic outlook during a meeting with members of the Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Wednesday. Sharif highlighted the recent decline in inflation as a positive sign of the national economy’s improvement and stated that it marked a shift away from the downward trajectory Pakistan had been facing.
Speaking alongside Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the former prime minister emphasized that the decrease in inflation signified economic stabilization and was a hopeful development for Pakistan’s future. “The decline in inflation points to economic stabilisation,” Nawaz Sharif remarked, welcoming the change as a promising sign for the nation.
Sharif also praised Maryam Nawaz for her leadership and dedication as the Chief Minister of Punjab, highlighting her efforts beyond her official role. “Maryam Nawaz is serving the people of Punjab with immense dedication, driven by her motherly love and passion for public welfare,” he said.
