Islamabad: 30 EV buses have reached Pakistan: CDA. Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chaudhary Muhammad Ali Randhawa presided over an important meeting regarding Islamabad bus service at CDA headquarters on Monday. The meeting was attended by Member Engineering, Member Planning and Design including other senior officer of the CDA.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, it was briefed that 30 EV buses have reached Pakistan and remaining 70 buses will also reach soon. He was further informed that the tendering procedure for the depots to be built at I-9, Tramri Chowk and Zero Point have been completed and the work will be awarded to the lowest bider received shortly.

On this occasion, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed that a timeline should be given regarding the construction of the bus depot and it should be ensured within the given timeline depots and charging points are fully functional. Similarly, a working be carried out to give subsidy to the deserving segments, including students and senior citizens.

Chairman CDA further said that plan.be made to extend the route to the diplomatic enclave.He further directed that the Islamabad bus service project should be compared with the model of Punjab Metro Bus Authority (PMA).
Chairman CDA further said that delay beyond the given timeline will not be tolerated. He further said that the Islamabad bus service should be made an ideal project, in order to ensure the provision of quality travel facilities to the citizens.
