Lahore: (Staff Reporter) The 25th convocation of the University of Central Punjab (UCP) is being held at the Expo Centre. Retired Justice Nasira Iqbal was the chief guest while Prof Sohail Afzal was the guest of honor on the first day of the convocation. Pro-Rector Prof Nasr Ikram and Deans faculties were also present.
According to the source, as many as 2,176 graduates will be given degrees and 149 medals at the convocation, out of which 1,076 students received their degrees on the first day. As many as 37 medals and 879 degrees will be awarded to undergraduates, 29 medals and 194 degrees to postgraduates and three degrees to PhD students.
