Rana Sana warns to block passports, CNICs over heckling against PML-N
<<Fawad Chaudhry calls Rana Sana, Ata Tarar ‘snakes in sleeves’>>
Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Tuesday said that the national identity cards and passports will be blocked for heckling against citizens and especially the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
While announcing major action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in a series of Tweets, the federal minister took a dig at former PM and PTI chairman Imran Khan and said that a so-called political party and its leader, who is suffering from insanity, had launched a campaign based on political hatred, malice, sedition and mischief and for security measures in view, I address all Pakistani citizens, especially the friends of the PML-N that if you encounter “sick followers of Imran Khan” while travelling, in the bazaar or anywhere, and they start “roaring” or “biting” you, you can make their video from your mobile phone instead of taking the law into your own hands.
Rana Sana asked the PML-N workers to send the video of sick followers of the PTI chairman to the Director Cyber Crime, FIA either through WhatsApp or by tagging the FIA on social media and the law enforcers will take strict action and even block their identity cards and passports.
He also wrote that a case would also be registered against the hecklers.
In another tweet, he said being public representatives, they are answerable to people and there is no ban on asking questions. But if someone tried to disrespect us in the name of freedom of speech or tried to harass us for political point scoring an action would be taken.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry accused the PML-N-led coalition government of planning rigging of the by-elections on 20 Punjab Assembly (PA) seats due to be held three days from now, on July 17, 2022, and laying its blame on the establishment instead.
Addressing a press conference along with other PTI leaders at Punjab Assembly in Lahore, he said the state institutions should be aware that they had hired the services of people like Rana Sanaullah and Ata Tarar, who were in fact snakes in sleeves.
“Police’s raid on PTI’s corner meeting in Lahore last night is a case in point. Although it had been done on the orders of the Punjab government, but the impression was given as if a brigadier in the country’s secret agency was behind it. “When we probed into it, it dawned upon us that the concerned DSP was on the payroll of the PML-N candidate,” Fawad alleged.
He further said all this was done only to instill fear in the minds of PTI workers.
Sadly, he went on to add, such incidents are increasing day by day.
