NA Speaker Commends Allied Bank Loan Scheme for Secretariat Staff
Islamabad — In a major employee welfare initiative, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq chaired the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Assembly Secretariat and Allied Bank Limited at Parliament House. The MoU establishes a new easy-term loan scheme aimed at supporting the financial needs of the employees of the National Assembly and Senate Secretariat.
Under this scheme, employees will now be able to access affordable loan facilities through the Allied Bank branch located within Parliament House. The loans will be available for a range of purposes including house construction, purchase or renovation, and vehicle acquisition.
Speaking at the ceremony, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that this initiative reflects his broader vision for employee welfare, particularly for low-income staff who dream of owning or improving their homes. He said the scheme is a significant step toward financial empowerment and stability for Secretariat employees.
The facility will primarily benefit employees who already hold accounts with the Parliament House branch of Allied Bank. The Speaker also praised the collaborative efforts of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Additional Secretary, Advisor on Legislation, and other officers who played key roles in bringing the initiative to fruition. He further extended appreciation to Allied Bank for their generous support and partnership.
