Govt taking extreme steps to tackle climate change
ISLAMABAD – Staff reporter: Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul on Monday confident that the government had brought multiple campaigns and taking all possible serious steps to combat results of climate change on the region.
She said the authorities has initiated incredible programs such as cross inexperienced Pakistan, plantation of trees, ban on plastic bags, renewable power resources and E-cars to fight with environmental problem and reduce carbon emission.
She additionally stated addressing challenges and threats of climate change is a common responsibility of all international companions.
Pakistan needs money to implement its deliberate agenda, she stated adding, it is responsibility of the world community to help Pakistan in coping disastrous influences of changing climate of the globe.
The United Nations leader is relatively concerned with the problems emanating due to climate change , she added.
He is properly aware about the reality that notwithstanding financial constraints, Pakistan is playing a positive role within its capability to counter the influences of climate change , she highlighted.
“We need to teach new generations about the environment and encourage researchers to conduct empirical studies on climate change problems”, she added.
Long term polices in line with sustainable development goals are required to make Pakistan a safer location for our coming generation, Zartaj Gul said.
