ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain Bilal bin Saqib has said that Pakistan’s crypto strategy is rapidly advancing towards success on the global stage, with “crypto diplomacy” positioning the country not just as a recipient but as a global builder in the industry, on Sunday.
Bilal bin Saqib noted that his 2018 predictions about the crypto market had proven accurate. He highlighted that Pakistan, through the creation of its Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, had formally joined the global crypto strategy, marking a major milestone for the nation.
The establishment of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority was described as another critical step in strengthening the country’s crypto market infrastructure.
He emphasised that Pakistan’s crypto diplomacy has been reshaped, paving the way for broader economic growth and recognition at the international level.

Calling Pakistan a “hidden treasure”, Bilal bin Saqib said the nation’s true economic strength would become more visible in the future.
He added that the crypto reserve project has become a revolutionary initiative, significantly enhancing Pakistan’s standing and credibility in global financial and technological circles.
