Toru presses severe punishments to control incidents of sexual crimes

Vice President Women’s Wing KPK and Chairperson Shelter Program Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Neelam Khan Toru has said that control is must over sexual conduct and pornography in the society, including severe punishments to prevent incidents of sexual crimes, abuse of children and women.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also emphasized on the same issues on which he was criticized which is a moment of reflection. She said that the present government has provided five million houses to the low-income sections as per its manifesto. Comprehensive efforts and concrete steps have been taken for this purpose as the present government has made this basic problem of the poor and middle classes a top priority as evidenced by the government’s provision of a subsidy of Rs. 300k.

Neelam Khan Toru added that work has been completed on 54 higher secondary schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the school construction and rehabilitation program, while on 215 schools development work is underway. Under the project, construction and rehabilitation of schools in 14 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is underway. She further said that construction of recreational places along with small reservoirs (small dams) in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also underway. The road connecting Kohat Tanda Dam has been completed while provision of more facilities is underway. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 83 low budget bazaars and 52 farmers’ markets are being set up across the province to provide food items to the people at affordable prices during Ramadan, Neelam Khan Toru said. She added that she was happy to announce that another promise, we are going to make to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is that The KPK cabinet has approved the inclusion of liver transplant, bone marrow and blood transfusion treatments in the revolutionary KP, Health Card Plus program, as well as the Skill Development Company has also established. It is taking practical steps to fulfill it and the people will soon start reaping the fruits of it. The PTI government wants to bring the backward classes to the forefront. She said that no hunger and shelter program has been started in Lahore, Faisalabad and Peshawar after Rawalpindi and Islamabad which is a practical step towards the state of Madinah where the state should take the responsibility of its weaker section.

Govt has laid a network of kitchen trucks all over Pakistan for the deserving people, which will provide two meals a day to the working class.
