OGDCL RESOLVES ISSUE OF GAS SUPPLY FROM DHOK HUSSAIN GAS FIELD KOHAT

After considerable efforts and utmost hard work by Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Management, issue of gas supply from Dhok Hussain Gas Field has been resolved and soon OGDCL will start commercial production from the field. A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Kohat Division in his office which was attended by Mr. Amjad Khan Afridi MPA, DIG Police Kohat, DPO Kohat , Deputy Commissioner Kohat, OGDCL Regional Coordinator Kohat and Representatives of SNGPL Transmission & Distributions Kohat Division.

The issue of provision of gas within 05 KM radius was brought under discussion and the SNGPL representatives apprised the committee that case of gasification within 05 KM radius of Dhok Hussain has already been approved by OGRA, whereas, initial survey of the gasification within 05 KM radius of Togh Well-1 has also been completed and case is under process for fulfillment of codal formalities.             After detailed discussion, the issue of Dhoke Hussain transmission line and Togh Well-I flowline has been resolved and soon OGDCL will start commercial production from the field. OGDCL made a significant discovery of 12MMCFD of gas and 300 BBLS of Condensate from Dhok Hussain Gas Field in the year 2018 and due to stoppage of laying of pipeline by local members of the parliament work could not have been completed. It was causing a huge financial loss to the OGDCL and national exchequer as well.
