A meeting of District Health Officers was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad Abdul Hameed Kayani regarding registration of senior citizens for corona vaccination. The meeting was attended by District Health Officer Dr. Saeed Awan, Dr. Umair Shafiq, Dr. Sardar Mushkoor Hussain, Dr. Azmi Zia, Dr. Madiha Naseem, Dr. Qaratul Ain and Dr. Kamran Riaz. Giving a briefing on the occasion, District Health Officer Dr. Saeed Awan said that in the first phase, 500 front line workers have been vaccinated in Muzaffarabad district. At the same time, senior citizens above 60 years of age will be vaccinated against corona. All such persons above 60 years of age should register by sending their CNIC to 1166 without space.
In response to which they will receive a notification message regarding the relevant center, date and time of vaccination and they will be able to go to the relevant center on the scheduled date and time and get vaccinated. Talking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad Abdul Hameed Kayani said. To speed up the process of vaccinating against corona. Vaccination rates at various centers are currently low and need to be increased. He said that the administration would extend full cooperation to the health department staff in this regard. “Ensure that no one is left out of the vaccine,” he said. He said that the doctors and staff of the health department rendered excellent services during the corona virus for which they deserve congratulations. We hope that they will do the same in the vaccination process and make it a success and play their full role in making the state a corona free state.
