Mr. Muzammil Hussain, a resident of Lahore, left Pakistan to earn a living for his family in Turkey where his health worsened due to diabetes. Mr. Hussain suffered for 4 months, during which the family had little or no idea about any updates on his health. Things took a positive turn when a UK based girl namely Tayyaba (niece of Mr. Hussain) got in touch with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari who ordered MD, OPF, Dr. Amer Sheikh for immediate and safe return of Mr. Hussain to Pakistan. The task was successfully accomplished by MD, OPF in coordination with our embassy in Turkey. This achievement is a reflection of the untiring resolve shown by the Government of Pakistan to facilitate deserving overseas Pakistanis in distress. Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari lauded the efforts of MD, OPF and the embassy staff in Turkey for a job well done and vowed to extend such efforts across the globe by helping the Pakistani diaspora in distress.
